We develop laboratory experiments that demonstrate some of the properties and processes found on the nanoscale, such as concentration gradient.

Leave a lasting impact on your community and gain valuable hands-on experience through the Engineering Service Learning course. Students enrolled in Engineering Service Learning (ENGR 097/197) course work on multi-disciplinary teams to solve design challenges faced by local non-profit organizations and gain experience while developing hands-on professional and technical skills. Project teams are staffed and lead by students providing a real-word opportunity for leadership development. To learn more about our teams, click here.

NISE Network (Nanoscale Informal Science Education Network) is a community consisting researchers and informal science educators who are dedicated to spread public awareness and understanding of nanoscale science, engineering, and technology. It was originally formed in 2005 and welcomes anyone who are interested in nanoscale research to join their community. The community of the NISE Network is organized around eight regional hubs in United States and each of the hubs helps researchers connect with museums, host workshops, and provide support.
